4. Art:

We at IGSI feel that art is an expression of heart, mind and emotions. It reveals the internal as well as eternal beliefs of the person. It brings the thoughts into reality. Students from the age of play group i.e. beginning are given exposure to this form of expression, so that they imbibe the richness of art and learn to express themselves freely. Various competitions are also held to judge and appreciate the children.

5. Dramatics:

In this club the children enjoy portraying different characters and roles and enhance their abilities of acting. Children are then given opportunity to show case their talents through various skits, street plays and dramas on the occasions of celebrations of National and International Day’s like Labour day as well as heart souring issues like child labour etc. Such dramatizations make the children aware and sensitize them to various burning issues.

6. Music:

We feel that music brings peace of mind and soul. Here we teach our students instrumental music such as Harmonium, guitar, tabla, Congo etc. Vocal music is also taught to the students to polish their vocal cords.

7. Dance:

It is the art of movement of the body, usually rhythmically and to music, using prescribed or improvised steps and gestures. “A dance” is regarded as a form of non-verbal communication .All the children are made to learn this art form in the school as a hobby or for fun and enjoyment.
